Information on sci.astro.amateur FAQ

Ok, a little background information. The sci.astro.amateur Buying a Telescope FAQ is a collaborative work drawing on the contributions of many posters to the group. The current maintainer is Dennis Bishop. I (David Nash) have exercised some editorial discretion in making this HTML version, including some minor corrections and some (hopefully clearly marked) editorial commentary. Questions about those additions, or the web-based aspects of this FAQ, should be directed to me. Other questions, particularly questions about content, should be directed to the newsgroup sci.astro.amateur or to Mr. Bishop.
