Orion, Taurus, and Eridanus
Submitted by David on Sun, 2006-04-02 17:32.
Orion, Taurus, and Eridanus, a region of the sky with many nearby stars (such as Epsilon Eridani, Omicron2 Eridani, and Kappa Ceti), which glide by quickly. Additionally, the famous star cluster, the Hyades, appears just at the top of the image. You can see the Hyades move as a distinct group off the top of the image as the animation proceeds. |
